Logged in? Congratulations! Upload your first document and start interacting with your documents.
Step 1 #
Locate the “New Chat” button. The button is prominently visible on the dashboard. You can also start Uploading by clicking on “New chat“, You will find this on the panel on the left.
Once you’ve found it, simply click on the “New Chat” button to initiate the upload process.
Step 2 #
Select the agent you’re working with. A modal will open, allowing you to choose the appropriate AI Agents for your various tasks.
Step 3 #
Now, select the AI model you want to use while interacting with your documents. To know more about AI model selection read more here.
Step 4 #
Once you’ve selected your agent and AI model, you can proceed with uploading your document. You have two options for this step:
a. Browse: Click on the “Browse File” button and navigate to the location on your computer where the document you want to upload is stored. Select the file and click “Open” to initiate the upload process.
b. Drag and Drop: Alternatively, you can simply drag and drop the document file from your computer’s file explorer or desktop directly into the designated upload area on the interface.
After successfully uploading your document, DocXter will process it and generate a clear and concise summary of the document’s content. This summary will include key points, relevant information, and an overview of the document’s structure and layout.
With your document uploaded and summarized, you can now start interacting with it.
This may include asking questions about the document’s content, requesting clarification on specific sections, or seeking additional information related to the topic covered in the document. To know how to interact with your document read Prompting With DocXter →
