In this case, you were invited as a member to one of the team admin’s accounts on DocXter and you are trying to verify your email address to sign in and join DocXter account for that user.
This typically happens due to one of the following reasons:
- The invite link has expired
- The team admin sent multiple invites all at once
- Another invite was sent to the same email address before the previous one was accepted
To resolve this issue, the team admin should delete an existing invitation, wait for at least 10 minutes, and then re-invite the team member.
Once you receive the invite over the email: Copy the sign-in link from the email.
Open an incognito window or a different browser and paste the sign-in link in the new incognito tab/browser.
Then on the verify email address page, input the email address the same (avoid extra spaces or typos, etc.).
It is important that the email address matches, otherwise it could lead to verification failure and the account will not be created.
