Extract information #

At its core DocXter is about extracting the details from your documents without having to go through them yourself. You upload a document and DocXter will read every word, remember it, and even understand it. 

If you ask –

Locate the section or paragraph discussing [specific topic] in the document.

DocXter will identify the information you are looking for and then extract the [specific information] for you to work on.

This is how it comes to play. You’ve got a document with numerous pages, and you need to know a particular detail, you DocXter it, and ask. It’s that simple!

Here are a few examples –

Instead of asking “What are the values mentioned“, try asking –

What is the value of [specific data point] mentioned in this document?

Instead of asking “Where was [specific keyword or phrase] used in the document?”, try asking –

Extract all mentions of [specific keyword or phrase] from the uploaded document.

Instead of asking “list all the contacts in the document”, try asking –

Find the contact information (email, phone number, address) listed in this uploaded document

or

Summarize the document in [X] sentences or [X] words.

You can also specify what form you want your answers in, for example when you ask –

In bullet points, provide a detailed summary of [chapter [X]] in the uplaoded document.

Your answers will be in structured bullet points.
