Renaming Collections and Deleting Documents #
At DocXter, we believe in providing you with a seamless and intuitive document management experience.
As your document collection grows and evolves, the need for organization and maintenance becomes paramount.
That’s why we’ve implemented powerful features that allow you to rename your collections and delete unwanted documents with ease, ensuring that your workspace remains clutter-free and optimized for efficiency.
Renaming Collections #
Option 1: Click the Three-Dot Menu
- Click on the three-dot menu next to the collection you wish to rename.
- A pop-up window appears to “Rename” the collection.
- Select the “Rename” option, and a dialog box will open, allowing you to enter the new name for your collection.
- Confirm your changes and your collection will be promptly updated with the new name.
Option 2: Through the Name Bar
- Another convenient way to rename a collection is through the name bar.
- Locate the collection you wish to rename and click on its current name, which will become editable.
- Enter the desired new name for your collection and press “Enter” to confirm the changes.
Deleting Single Documents #
- To delete individual documents click on the three-dot menu next to the document you wish to remove.
- In the pop-up window, you’ll find the “Delete” option.
- Select “Delete,” and a confirmation dialog will appear, ensuring you don’t accidentally remove important documents.
- Confirm your decision, and the document will be permanently removed from your collection.
